4 HANDS & 4 FEET PIANO

It´s common knowledge that Mozart regularly used the“turqueries”, percussion instruments installed underneath the piano and actioned by pedals or knee-levers. What my hands and feet proposed, together with those owned by Diego Ghymers (1974 -2015), was a modern vision of these “turqueries”, resulting in an innovative formation which we called “4 hands & 4 feet piano”.

Works by I. Stravinsky, I. Albéniz, A. Katchaturian and D. Ghymers himself kept us busy from 2004 to 2009.
